Privacy
Workstate is a company-side workstate dashboard. This page describes the founding beta in plain language.
What we collect
- Company account email and workspace name.
- Freelancer name, email, role, and the update link.
- Workstate updates: finished, next, blocker, ETA, and the next update date.
- Optional integration tokens for GitHub or Linear, stored to fetch activity prompts.
What we do not collect
- No screenshots, keystrokes, time tracking, or productivity monitoring.
- No client logins or passwords.
- No private GitHub code or Linear issue content is published to the company automatically.
Who can see an update
The company that owns the workspace can see published updates and anyone with the read-only board link can see the roster view. Freelancers can see their own update page. Public pages are marked noindex.
Data removal
A company can remove a freelancer from the roster. To delete a workspace or request an export, contact the address below. Do not put passwords, API keys, or sensitive personal data in update fields.
